Definitely. I hold an ACT plumbing licence (No. 20081145). I also hold a NSW plumbing licence (No. 60420S) issued by the NSW Department of Fair Trading.
In addition, I hold a current registration under the ACT’s Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Act.
Yes. I am a member of the Master Plumbers, Drainers and Gasfitters Association of the ACT (MPA). This means I am subject to a Code of Conduct and you have an avenue to raise and resolve any issues you might have with my work, charges or behavior.
We do not do free quotes. We charge $77 (inc gst) for a quotation. However, if you go ahead with the work we quoted on, we will not charge the quote fee.
If you cancel a booked-in job within 24 hours of the time the job was booked for, we will charge a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the estimated time we have allowed for the job. For example, if we had estimated the job would take 2 hours to complete, the cancellation fee will be Hourly Rate x 2 x 50%.
We expect payment on completion, or within 7 days of invoice date.
Yes, we prefer to make timed appointments. Just call our office on 0417 411 487 and we’ll work out a convenient time for a plumber to call. If you prefer, we can arrange to give you a call half an hour ahead of our expected arrival to give you time to get home.
The quickest and simplest way to contact me is to call my office on 0417 411 487.
We need your name (first name and family name), residential address (and address of the job if it is different), contact phone numbers, and your email address (where possible we prefer to send invoices by email). We also need a good idea of what time of day suits you best, whether you need us to call you half an hour ahead of our expected arrival, if someone is not home during the day as a general rule.It will also be really helpful if you can give as much information as possible about the problem you are calling about. For example, how many and which taps are leaking; is the water from the cistern running into the toilet bowl, or is there water lying around the base of the toilet on the floor; is there no hot water, or no water at all; if you suspect a blocked drain, is it the sewerage line or the storm water drain (eg what household activities seem to cause or exacerbate the problem).
We accept payment by cash, credit card (Visa and MasterCard only), cheque (by prior arrangement) and electronic funds transfer. We do not impose a surcharge for credit card payments.
